Heavy unusual snowfall in my hometown!

Here are some pictures from the period 10. January 2015-18. January 2015 taken by me of friends having fun with the great snowconditions we got here in my hometown. It is not usual we get this much snow at once, and at least not in early January. I've never experienced skiingconditions this good here as i can remember, and for so many days. So this can be the start of a great winter up here in Bøverdalen and Jotunheimen! And if this continues the spring skiing is going to be even better!

In the 10 consecutive days we skied here I was never more than 4-5 kilometers from my house when skiing. There are no lifts, so all the skiing comes from good old walking to the top :-)

Åsmund Galde grew up on one of the two farms closest in the picture, so this is real local powder skiing!
You can also see both the houses i grew up in, plus the house I live in now in the picture!
